How to Clear the Apple Music App Cache
The steps for erasing Apple Music junk files will differ for each device.
On Android
1. Open Settings: Navigate to the Settings app on your Android phone and open the Apps settings.
2. Locate Apple Music: Click See all apps, search for and select the Apple Music app from the list of installed applications.
3. Clear App Cache: On the Apple Music app info page, click Storage & cache, and tap the Clear cache button.
4. Remove App Data: To remove the entire app storage, hit the Clear Storage option. This will permanently remove customized settings, login info, and all the data.
Note – You can also set a limit on the Apple Music app from collecting data on your device. To do so, run Apple Music and hit the three-dots icon. Then select Settings, hit Playback Cache, and choose the size.
On iPhone
Unlike Android, you can’t clear Apple Music’s cached data directly on an iPhone. Alternatively, uninstall and reinstall Apple Music to remove the temporary files.
